seeing the swell has been so flat been throwing the pot off the rocks. Females all cleaned up fresh malt so taking advantage of the loaded ledges the boats cant get to!! Avg 5-7 a day from one pot fromthe same gutter everyday! This is this mornings effert!

Kalbarri Crays
Tangles is catching more crays without a boat and in one pot than the rest of us with six pots and an expensive boat.
Just goes to show that local knowledge is the most important item when fishing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny faulkners dont eat too many these days but give them to friends or family when they come up! Just love the thrill of hunting em offthe stones n getting flogged for em!

yep no problems uncle. Same rules apply w licence pot setup. Id setup on float etc! Fisheries do check dwn at the rabbity when they are up. Just gota know your shit on some of the ledges but never have a prob getting a feed!

I really can't see why not Unc, As long as you can produce a licence and stay within bag limits etc. Probably the way you exctract them would be the issue as not to damage them.

Yeh not sure uncle. Dnt see why not as long as you use a snare or grab em by hand. Prob is you see heaps walkn round on reef at 2 am but only allowed after 6am to get crays! Just easier n safer w a pot!I
